Application Booklet

If you would like to gain formal certification to teach Basic Timbrel Praise then you should purchase an application packet. The purpose of certification is to maintain an appropriate standard of teaching worldwide. It gives timbrelists the credibility they need to teach in a variety of different countries, churches, and situations. When you gain certification you will also be registered with Timbrel Praise so that you may be contacted if anyone in your area is looking for someone to teach the Timbrel Praise: Basic Tambourine Course or the ‘Perfecting How You Write Basic Long and Shorthand Instructions’ workshop. The cost of this application packet covers the application, handling, postage and response items.

Note: Some of the requirements include that you have completed the Timbrel Praise: Basic Tambourine Course and the "Perfecting How You Write Basic Long and Shorthand Instructions" booklet and/or workshop. You should also have been playing the tambourine actively for at least 6 months and have the support of your church/ministry leadership.

Basic Tambourine Teacher's
Record Book

This book should be used by teacher's teaching the Timbrel Praise: Basic Tambourine Course. It allows you to record your lesson plans, student attendance, assignment and exam grades as well as any additional notes you may have. There are four sets of records so you can use this book for four different classes. Also included are the Timbrel Praise: Basic Tambourine Course syllabus, class schedule, preparation information and individual lesson details reproduced from the basic book.

Basic Timbrel Praise Tambourine  Playing Card Masters 

We now have playing card masters which will enable any teacher (or student) to construct a pack of a cards to practice steps and movements included in the basic tambourine course. These masters are photocopiable sheets containing each step and movements' name and symbol (on separately mapped out cards). Also included are blank cards, card backs, and game suggestions.

Note:  These are masters and not a pack of cards. You will need to make the cards yourself using a photocopier, cardstock and a pair of scissors.
